WAVE OF VENUS SERIES

The Series of WAVE OF VENUS is shown responding to its surrounding dreamy landscape. Nine open clay basins are arranged according to the eight directions of the I Ging, with a larger central vessel forming a focal point and imaginary connection between them. The archaic shapes evoke sources or ritual containers, holding the invisible presence of water within the material’s texture and flow. Grounded yet finely attuned, the composition forms a quiet choreography, out of past presence and future. Timeless, reminding of archiac ritual places as well as fantastic video games or generated landscapes, but real and breathing.
