WAVE OF VENUS

Tine Günther alias MYLASHER brings art back to its origins - to an archaic, transformative act of creation. Intuition and experience, art and ritual, the material and the transcendental merge in her work. This holistic approach characterises her entire oeuvre - MYLASHER transforms spaces into symbolic and transcendental spheres that open portals to other worlds. Three elaborate firing processes create ceramics that combine delicate fragility with timeless vitality and sublime preciousness. The soft surfaces connect Günther‘s works with a tradition of the sacred. At the same time, her works carry a mystical pictorial resonance. The closed series WAVE OF VENUS, which is currently being created, appears delicate and fragile. The artist also designed and will build unique ceramic plinths for the objects. Nine wide-open pools create a primordially feminine, sacred space in light silence.
